8@Lalandi is the perfect self-catering beachfront get-away. Drift off to sleep and awake to the sound of the waves and enjoy the beautiful view from the deck, looking out for passing dolphins.
8@Lalandi is located on the beach at Langstrand, approximately 15km from both Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.

The fully equipped cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 persons. The dining area has an indoor braai (barbeque) for cooking or keeping you cosy on misty nights. The kitchen/lounge/dining area is open-plan and has ocean views, as do two bedrooms. The lounge features under-floor heating. The loft bedroom and second bedrooms have queen (double) beds, while the third bedroom has two twin (single) beds. The single garage provides full laundry facilities with washing machine and tumble drier. The single garage only fits a small vehicle but the cottage has two additional outdoor parking bays.
The unit is fully furnished, including essentials such as free Wi-Fi and satellite television (full DSTV premium package). The kitchen is provided with everything from Nespresso machine, electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher to all cutlery and crockery.
Guests need only provide their own beach towels. We regret that pets are not permitted.
The dunes of the Namib and quad biking rentals are nearby. You can relax, tan on the deck or go for endless walks on the beach. Popular surf fishing spots such as "paaltjies" and "vierkantklip" and sites for crayfishing (in season) are nearby. Both activities require a fishing license, available from the Department of Sea Fisheries in Swakopmund.
Note that there is no shopping at Long Beach, only a service station convenience store. But Swakopmund provides ample shopping opportunities. Nearby restaurants include the Protea Hotel Burning Shore (50m away) and the Protea Hotel Longbeach Lodge, while Swakopmund provides a broad range of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops.
For the adventurous, 8@Lalandi is perfectly located for you to take advantage of the many activities offered in the area.
