Eden Self Catering Chalets provides visitors to Windhoek Namibia with self catering accommodation. Located just outside in the Namibian capital Windhoek, it offers a picturesque rural setting but is close enough to the Windhoek city centre to make for convenient shopping.
At present our accommodation consists of five self-catering chalets plus three new separate rooms each with it's own shower, toilet and wash basin. All chalets are equipped with either built-in or portable barbecues. The chalets have a lovely view of the awesome Auas mountain range as well as a game camp populated with various game species. Centrally situated amongst the chalets is a pool as well as a lapa with built-in barbecue rendering a great view of the duck pond, Seeis river and the Kapp's dam. Chalets are surrounded by lush green lawn with huge trees as well as smaller palms and other indigenous bush.
Activities
Eden is well stocked with an abundance of game (over twenty species) from the magnificent Sable to the tiny Steenbok which can be viewed and photographed at close range during our game drives which are undertaken early morning or late afternoon when the breathtaking beauty of nature at its best can be savoured. This is a photographers dream. On each game drive we have at least one stopover presenting a magnificent view of the Auas mountain range whilst enjoying a soft drink, mineral water or cold beer. During afternoon drives you will also be treated to a beautiful Namibian sunset.

Around the house
EDEN CHALETS boasts one of the largest collections of exotic parrots from across the globe which can be viewed and photographed at leisure and in your own time totally free of charge to our overnight and/or game drive visitors. The same applies to our lovely herd of Al pacas imported from Chile/Argentina as well as the rest of our large variety ducks, geese, turkeys, peacock game fowl etc. Ground squirrels, mongoose and other exotic game play and roam freely in the vicinity of the chalets. Wild birds also abound in the area.
Close to the lapa with built - in barbecue is a lovely pool where one can cool down during the hot summer days or just relax with a refreshing drink.

Sable & Impala are one bedroom, en-suite units with two single beds as well as a sleeper couch in the well organised lounge/kitchenette. Both these chalets have a porch overlooking a game camp and duck pond. Bathrooms are equipped with shower, toilet and wash basin.

La-Moure
La-moure (love) is a definite first choice for that special treat of your loved one. Romantic atmosphere all round, abounding in splendour, style, beauty and class for the ultimate love story. Also equipped with both bath as well as double size shower. Spoil her/him and yourself with this gorgeous up market chalet.

Rivier View
River view as the name suggests has a lovely view of the Seeis river plus Kapp’s dam and is situated next to the game camp. Great scenery from within the chalet/bedroom as well as the barbecue area. The two bedrooms are furnished with beautiful teak (sleeper wood). Furthermore this luxurious chalet has both shower as well as bath and two toilets (one en-suite).

Zebra
Zebra is your weekend getaway from home. Large three bedroomed house with all the necessities. Just get into your car and come. Ideal for larger groups or whole families. Braais and space galore. This chalet is very popular so book well in advance!
